David Hershey-Webb has been singing, playing and writing original americana (country-rock-folk-pop) since before it was called americana. From the streets of Harvard Square in the 70s to the clubs of Red Hook, Brooklyn in the 00s, David has stirred audiences with his energy and passion. His most recent CD, Welcome to the World is now available. Accompanying David are top notch artists like Jon Pousette-Dart, Lorenza Ponce, Jay Dee Maness, John Troy, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Mariachi de mi Tierra and Paul Trudeau. The songs trace David's journey from wandering troubador to family man. David's nine-year old daughter Lilly appears on the CD singing Ray Charles' "Hit the Road Jack". The song styles range from country to rock to folk. The title track features a mariachi band.
